ScottFr say, "why would the teachers do that, they are not on hope, we are"
NickSm says, "teachers are giving easier grades b/c they are tired of students slacking off and they dont the patience anymore"

NickSm says, "its true, try to remember a teacher in high school coming in to class in the morning looking like a 9 to 5 factory worker with nothing to live for...."
AndrewGo says, "How many have you been too"

NickSm says, "not colleges, high schools mostly i believe"
KurtDa says, "They do it because that is what they enjoy teaching, at least for the first few years"

AndrewGo says, "So they give better grades"
ScottFr say, "teachers wouldn't teach at first unless they enjoyed it and liked students"
KurtDa says, "no, high school teachers don't give a shit about grades, they don't like grading at all"
ScottFr say, "I can't really remember high school"

ScottFr say, "do you really think half the classes we take here are going to help in our future job"
JulieOw says, "yeah, actually I do"

KurtDa says, "no, most of what you learn here a college is not going to be in the classroom."
AndrewGo says, "The first two years is bull crap"
KurtDa says, "it's more of a time to find yourself and what you want out of life"
ScottFr say, "so college is to expand your knowledge while specifically training you for a certain job and you get to drink alot doing it"
JulieOw says, "the fisrt bull shit classes like math and english are just to make sure you want to be here"
NickSm says, "not from the curriculum but from the group interactions and things like that"
AndrewGo says, "I think Scott has got it"
