Anne's printed"

MiMa says, "mine is not finished"
KurtDa says, "does everyone want to just print them out
tonight and talk tomorrow about what we find tonight?"
GeraldLa says, "i haven't finished mine either"

MiMa says, "I got stuck after the first half. My paper is
horrible"

MiMa says, "don't even bother reading it"
JulieOw says, "what I have read sounds fine, better than mine"

JenniferCa says, "i have no idea where my paper i sgoing"
MiMa says, "on Montell, these ten kids find out they all have
the same dad"

JulieOw says, "I think jason just busted out with a line from
one of his songs and of course Anand had something to say"

questions about my paper in person. Sometimes it is hard to critique a
paper and ask for adivce during this class"

tomorrow after I work on it tonight"

revisions"

Mr.Cole says, "Hi, ones. How is it going"
JulieOw says, "we are in a bind no one has anyone elses papers"
JulieOw says, "we can't critique"
Mr.Cole says, "Kurt's, jenny's and Mi Anne's are on the WB"
KurtDa says, "My computer won't run both programs at the same time"
JenniferCa says, "mine either"
JulieOw says, "ditto"
Mr.Cole says, "Oh, right."
JulieOw says, "we already have a plan for tomorrow though"
KurtDa says, "we are all going to revise our papers and get
everyone elses tonight for tomorrow"
Mr.Cole says, "That's good. Well, I suppose we could talk
generally about problems you have been ahving."
Mr.Cole says, "having."
KurtDa says, "k"
JulieOw says, "well I just couldn't find enough stuff to write about. I got really stuck"
MiMa says, "me too"
JulieOw says, "it just wouldn't flow like usual, I was stuggling for every sentence."
JulieOw says, "and they are still sound bad"
JulieOw says, "kind of like that one"
JenniferCa says, "you could always get ideas from other people's papers"
JenniferCa says, "that helps sometimes"
Mr.Cole says, "Good point, Jenny."
JulieOw says, "well when I looked on the web board there were only two up"
JulieOw says, "last night I was on my own"
JenniferCa says, "they should all be there now though"
JulieOw says, "well I will do that. Thanks "
Mr.Cole says, "So, Julie, what are you writing about, maybe we can help now."
JulieOw says, "how students need to realize the good and the bad points of technology "
GeraldLa says, "i'm here"
Mr.Cole says, "OK. Why should they realize this?"
KurtDa says, "hum...thats a tough one"
JulieOw says, "becau"because technology is such a big part of the world today, so they need to realize what good it can do to get over there fears and what bad it can do so it won't get out of hand"
Mr.Cole says, "Ah, that's MUCH better, more specific."
JulieOw says, "yeah but 750 words about that got me stuck"
JenniferCa says, "yeah, its a lot of words to write "
KurtDa says, "that's a tough length for this paper."
Mr.Cole says, "it should also provide plenty of material to write about. You have two main sections to work with: getting over the fear and controlling the harmful effects."
JulieOw says, "see I didn't know if that was like two different papers"
Mr.Cole says, "Explaining how to do each should take up plenty of words."
JulieOw says, "now I think I may be able to pull it off"
JulieOw says, "but don't quote me on that"
MiMa says, "well, it is time to go"
GeraldLa says, "we won't"
JulieOw says, "thanks"
Mr.Cole says, "Your thesis ties them together: technology is part of our lives, it's not going away, so we have to realize the benfits it can bring us while being on guard for the possible side-effects. "
MiMa says, "thanks alot for the help mr. cole!"
Mr.Cole says, "OK, but come prepared to do some serious critiquing tomorrow."
Mr.Cole goes out.
JenniferCa says, "we will"
KurtDa says, "i think time is almost up"
